A pneumatic tire having improved traction performance is provided. A pneumatic tire according to an embodiment has a tread (10) and has a designated direction of rotation. The tread (10) includes a main groove (20, 21) which extends from a side of an equator (CL) toward a side of a ground-contacting end (E1, E2), and which has an inclination with respect to a tire axial direction which is larger on the side of the equator (CL) than the side of the ground-contacting end (E1, E2), and a block (30, 31) which is formed along the main groove (20, 21) and which is placed alternately with the main groove (20, 21) in a tire circumferential direction. On the block (30, 31), an inclined surface (60, 61, 62, 63) which is inclined with respect to an upper surface of the block is formed on a side wall on a front side in a tire rotational direction, among side walls along the main groove (20, 21).
