The method comprises receiving a detection result (DR) comprising a representation of the second vehicle (22). Additionally, the method comprises determining that the second vehicle (22) is driving in a manual driving mode and determining a collision risk between the second vehicle (22) and the first vehicle (16). Moreover, the method comprises triggering a collision mitigation maneuver of the first vehicle (16), if a collision risk has been determined. Beyond that, a corresponding data processing apparatus (24), a corresponding computer program (32), and a corresponding computer-readable storage medium (30) are presented.",
