A roof panel assembly for a vehicle may include a roof outer panel including a sunroof opening, and a reinforcement assembly disposed below the roof outer panel and including a cross member assembly and a sunroof frame assembly surrounding an edge of the sunroof opening, wherein the sunroof frame assembly includes a rear frame assembly located at a rear of the vehicle, wherein the cross member assembly includes a rear cross member assembly located at a rear of the rear frame assembly, and a connecting member assembly connecting the roof outer panel, the rear cross member assembly, and the rear frame assembly.
