DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING INTERNAL RESISTANCE OF BATTERY

The present disclosure relates to a device and a method for detecting an internal resistance of a battery. An internal resistance detection device according to embodiments includes: a measuring device configured to measure a state value of a battery; and a control device configured to determine a state of charge (SOC) of the battery based on the state value, estimate a lithium ion distribution state within a positive electrode active material of the battery based on the SOC, determine a detection section depending on the lithium ion distribution state, and determine an internal resistance value of the battery based on the state value measured within the detection section.
