POTHOLE WARNING METHOD FOR VEHICLES

A pothole warning method for a vehicle is provided. The method comprises the steps of acquiring wheel-related parameters and suspension-related parameters during driving of the vehicle; identifying a pothole on a road on which the vehicle is traveling and a severity level of the pothole based on the wheel-related parameters and the suspension-related parameters; generating pothole event information based on the identification result, the pothole event information comprising a location of the identified pothole, a severity level of the identified pothole, and a time at which the pothole was identified; and transmitting the pothole event information to at least one of a cloud server, another vehicle, or a roadside facility.
