The invention relates to a system (2) for operation with a motor vehicle (4) and with a server (6), wherein swarm data (D) with data sets (S) are provided on the server, wherein each data set (S) represents a first variable (G1), in particular associated with the current location of the motor vehicle (4), regarding a longitudinal dynamics and/or a second variable (G2), in particular associated with the current location of the motor vehicle (4), regarding a traveled path, wherein the data sets (S) are divided into subgroups (U1,U2) depending on their first variable (G1) or depending on their second variable (G2), wherein one of the driver profiles (P1,P2) is selected from a number of predefined driver profiles (P) on the basis of an input (E), wherein one of the subgroups (U1g,U2g) is associated with the selected driver profile (P1,P2), wherein on the basis of the first variables (G1) and/or second variables (G2) of those data sets (S) which are divided into the subgroup (U1g,U2g) associated with the selected driver profile (P1,P2), a first control variable (SG,SG') for a driver assistance system (8) for automatic longitudinal guidance and/or automatic lateral guidance is determined, wherein the motor vehicle (4) is automatically guided in the longitudinal and/or lateral direction by means of the driver assistance system (8) depending on the first control variable (SG;SG').
