Vehicle air conditioning unit including an air intake structural body (50) that is suitable to be disposed at a vehicle front side of a dash panel and includes a flow path (52) for supply of external air, and an energy absorption section (60) that is provided to at least one of a vehicle width direction side section or a vehicle height direction side section of the air intake structural body (50), wherein the energy absorption section (60) is suitable to be disposed spanning in a vehicle front-rear direction, and is formed from a metal material capable of plastic deformation.
