The present invention relates to a work machine, in particular a wheel loader, with a drive unit, in particular a piston engine or fuel cell, which serves to drive the work machine and which is arranged in an engine compartment, and with a cooling aggregate that is designed and arranged to dissipate heat at least from the drive unit, characterized in that the cooling aggregate comprises a fan assembly that has an intake and a discharge direction of the air, wherein the fan assembly is arranged at least partially above the drive unit and is furthermore designed and arranged such that the discharge direction is not directed toward the drive unit.
