An electrode assembly according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and an electrode lead connected to the positive electrode or the negative electrode. The electrode lead includes a lower lead layer, an intermediate lead layer disposed on the lower lead layer, and an upper lead layer disposed on the intermediate lead layer. The electrode assembly according to an embodiment of the present disclosure and a battery cell including the same may improve heat generation by maintaining existing sealing process parameters and using a material having a high thermal conductivity.
