Embodiments provide a battery pack. The battery pack includes a pack housing with a base plate and a side wall perpendicular to the base plate, a plurality of battery cell assemblies provided on the base plate and each including a plurality of battery cells and an integrated circuit assembly configured to be electrically connected to the plurality of battery cells, a communication device configured to communicate with an antenna of the integrated circuit assembly of each of the plurality of battery cell assemblies, and a battery management system (BMS) configured to communicate with the communication device.
