While the battery is being charged by using the power conversion circuit, the control circuit may perform the operations of: controlling the communication circuit to perform communication with the power supply device through the data terminal so as to gradually increase the current of the power signal output from the power supply device to the electronic device from a first initial value to a first target current value set as a maximum output current value; when a communication error occurs before the current value of the power signal output from the power supply device to the electronic device reaches the first target current value, identifying to which current range the output current value belongs among predetermined current ranges; counting the number of occurrences of errors in the identified current range; setting a second target current value less than the first target current value as the maximum output current value on the basis of the counted number of times being equal to or greater than a threshold value; and controlling the communication circuit to perform, with the power supply device through the data terminal, communication for gradually increasing the current of the power signal output from the power supply device to the electronic device from a second initial value to the second target current value.",
