Provided are a battery cell (200), a battery (300), an electric apparatus, a cathode plate (10a) and a manufacturing method therefor. The battery cell (200) comprises: a cathode plate (10a), which comprises a cathode current collector (1) and a cathode active material layer (2) arranged on the cathode current collector (1), wherein the cathode active material layer (2) comprises a first thinned area (31), and the first thinned area (31) is located on the side edge of the cathode current collector (1) that is opposite a cathode tab (5); and an anode plate (10b), which is arranged such that the anode plate (10b) and the cathode plate (10a) are stacked in a first direction (X), wherein the anode plate (10b) comprises an anode current collector (1') and an anode active material layer (2') arranged on the anode current collector (1'), the anode active material layer (2') comprises a second thinned area (3'), the second thinned area (3') is arranged on the side edge of the anode current collector (1') that is provided with an anode tab (4'), and the second thinned area (3') at least partially overlaps the first thinned area (31). The first thinned area (31) can reduce lithium ions de-intercalated from the cathode active material layer (2) of the cathode plate (10a), so that the anode plate (10b) has enough capacity to accommodate the lithium ions de-intercalated from the cathode plate (10a), thereby alleviating lithium plating and improving the performance of the battery.
