APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING UWB DEVICE

According to an embodiment, provided is an apparatus for controlling a UWB device, the apparatus comprising: a communication unit for receiving a plurality of time of flight (TOF) values for a UWB signal from a plurality of anchors that are installed in a vehicle and perform UWB communication with a digital key; a calculation unit for calculating distance values between the plurality of anchors and the digital key by using the plurality of received TOF values, and calculating location information about the digital key by using the distance values; and a control unit for switching the operation mode of at least one anchor among the plurality of anchors to a radar operation mode according to the location information about the digital key.
