A method of manufacturing a positive electrode active material including a first step of washing a first lithium composite oxide and a second lithium composite oxide, each containing a transition metal and having different median diameters (D50) on a volumetric basis, a second step of adding a B source to the first lithium composite oxide and the second lithium composite oxide after the first step, to form composites of B on surfaces of the first lithium composite oxide and the second lithium composite oxide, and then calcining at a temperature of 350° C. to 500° C., and a third step of mixing the first lithium composite oxide and the second lithium composite oxide after the second step.
