An object is to provide a binder for a positive electrode, which is a binder even in a small amount exhibiting high adhesion to an active material and a current collector. The binder for a positive electrode of a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery to achieve the object contains: a vinylidene fluoride polymer; and an epoxy compound having two or more epoxy groups, and the epoxy compound has an epoxy equivalent of 500 g/eq or less, and a total amount of the vinylidene fluoride polymer relative to a total number of moles of the epoxy groups in the binder for a positive electrode is 600 g/eq or more and 3000 g/eq or less.
