The brake de-icing agent insertion apparatus has a release valve plug located on the underside of a main storage reservoir. An extended rim on the underside of the main storage reservoir surrounds the release valve plug and provides a stabilizing surface for resting the reservoir. Further the extended rim provides a protective shield should there be a release of the de-icing agent which might be pressurized and might otherwise spray on, contact and harm a person adding the de-icing agent to the air line.",
