AIR FILTERING APPARATUS

The disclosure relates to an air filtering apparatus () configured to provide intake air to an engine, said apparatus comprising: a filter chamber () comprising an air inlet opening (), and an air outlet opening (); a weather protection hood () arranged on the air inlet side of the filter chamber, said weather protection hood having an air intake opening () facing downward and an outlet opening () being connected to the air inlet opening () of the filter chamber; a pulse filter arrangement () comprising one or more pulse filters (); a static filter arrangement () located at the air outlet opening (); where the pulse filter arrangement () is arranged inside the weather protection hood () and in that a maintenance space () is provided in the filter chamber () on a downstream side of the pulse filter arrangement (), through which the filters () of the pulse filter arrangement can be replaced.
