TOW HITCH ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A ONE-WAY WRAP SPRING CLUTCH

A tow hitch assembly (1) for attachment to a vehicle, said tow hitch assembly (1) comprising a hitch arm (2), a housing (3) attachable to the vehicle, and an actuator assembly (4) attached to the housing (3). The hitch arm (2) is attached to a first shaft (5) rotatably supported by the housing (2). The tow hitch assembly (1) further comprises a one-way wrap spring clutch (9) operatively connecting the first shaft (5) and the actuator assembly (4). The wrap spring clutch (9) is connected to the first shaft (5) without gears.
