The present invention relates to an electrolyte leakage detection unit and a battery module including the same, wherein the detection unit is provided under a pouch-shaped battery cell, and the detection unit detects measuring insulation resistance or voltage of an outer frame electrically connected to the detection unit, whereby electrolyte leakage is detected.
