AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM WITH REMOVABLE FUEL TANK

The aircraft powerplant (22) includes an injector (74) and a fuel system (100) configured to deliver fuel to the injector (74). The fuel system (100) includes a first tank (114), a first circuit (106) and a second circuit (108) arranged in parallel with the first circuit (106) between the first tank (114) and the injector (74). The second circuit (108) includes a second tank. The fuel is directed from the first tank (114) to the injector (74) during a first mode through the first circuit (106) and independent of the second circuit (108). The fuel is directed from the second tank to the injector (74) during a second mode through the second circuit (108) and independent of the first circuit (106).
