VEHICLE WINDOW ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR FIXING A VEHICLE WINDOW PANE

The invention relates, inter alia, to a vehicle window arrangement for a rail or commercial vehicle, comprising a window pane which is arranged with an outer side substantially flush with an outer side of the vehicle body surrounding it of the rail or commercial vehicle, wherein the window pane is fixed to the vehicle body via a clamping system consisting of a clamping profile, in particular made of rubber, and at least one sealing strip element which can at least partially be inserted into the clamping profile, characterized in that an auxiliary frame cooperating with the clamping system is fastened to the window pane, which auxiliary frame is arranged at a distance from the outer side of the window pane, in particular projects beyond the edge of the window pane, wherein neither the clamping profile nor the at least one sealing strip element inserted into the clamping profile projects outwardly beyond the outer side of the window pane.
