When any one of the batteries is reversely installed, power transfer from the batteries to the load device is disabled. When both of the batteries are correctly installed, the batteries are connected in parallel if they are both rechargeable and in series if they are both non-rechargeable, and power transfer from the batteries to the load device is enabled.",
