CONNECTOR PART WITH A LOCKING ELEMENT

A connector part (3) comprises a housing (32), a plug section (30) arranged on the housing (32), which can be engaged in a plugging manner with an associated mating connector part (4), and a locking element (31) arranged movably on the housing (32) for locking the connector part (3) with the mating connector part (4). The locking element (31) can be moved between a locked position, in which the connector part (3) can be locked with the mating connector part (4), and an unlocked position, in which the connector part (3) can be removed from the mating connector part (4). A blocking element (34) arranged on the housing (32) and adjustable along a longitudinal axis (L) relative to the housing (32) serves to block the locking element (31) in the locked position. It is provided that the blocking element (34) is rotatable about the longitudinal axis (L), wherein the blocking element (34) is mounted on the housing (32) in such a manner that upon rotation about the longitudinal axis (L) the blocking element (34) is moved longitudinally along the longitudinal axis (L) in order to adjust the blocking element (34) between a blocking position, in which the blocking element (34) is in operative connection blocking the locking element (31), and an unblocking position, in which the blocking element (34) is out of operative connection with the locking element (31). In this manner, a connector part is provided which enables adjustment of the blocking element using simple means and with few components.
