VEHICLE STRUCTURE WITH A SLIDING TARPAULIN

The invention relates to a vehicle body (1) with a cargo space (20) extending above a cargo floor, which can be closed and opened in sections by means of at least one sliding tarpaulin (7) that is movable along a guide (11) of a body outer frame profile (6) via at least one tarpaulin roller (10), wherein the tarpaulin roller (10) has at least one rotatable running roller (12) that rolls along the guide (11) of the body outer frame profile (6) and is provided with a fastening lug (13), on which a tarpaulin holder (14) for holding the sliding tarpaulin (7) or a sliding tarpaulin connector (15) can be fixed offset in position from the running roller (12). In order to guide the running roller in the guide with minimal wear, it is provided that the tarpaulin holder (14) has a connection region (14.3) facing the sliding tarpaulin (7) with a receptacle (16.3) and/or a fastening for holding the sliding tarpaulin (7) and/or the sliding tarpaulin connector (15), and that a sliding body (21) limiting a tilting movement of the running roller (12) in the direction of the cargo space (20) can be fixed to the tarpaulin holder (14) (Fig. 8).
