The invention relates to a fuel injection unit (1) for assembly to a cylinder head and for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber (17) of a dual-fuel engine, the fuel injection unit (1) comprising at least one first nozzle (16) with at least one first aperture (9) for injecting a liquid pilot fuel (F) into the combustion chamber (17), wherein the first nozzle (16) comprises at least one second aperture (10) for injecting a gaseous medium (A) into the combustion chamber (17) and each second aperture (10) is assigned to at least one first aperture (9).
