PORTAL WHEEL DRIVE UNIT FOR A HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE

Portal wheel drive unit (4) for an agricultural vehicle with a portal axle and a frame (1), wherein the portal wheel drive unit (4) has an output shaft (17) of a transmission gear (18) connected to a running wheel (9) and an input shaft (21) of the transmission gear (18) connected to a drive shaft (19) of a drive device (20), wherein the transmission gear (18) is arranged in a gearbox housing (22) of the portal wheel drive unit (4), wherein the portal wheel drive unit (4) is connected to the frame (1) via at least one support arm, wherein the output shaft (17) of the portal wheel drive unit (4) with the associated running wheel (9) is adjustable relative to the frame (1) by means of an adjustment device in the vertical direction. In order to provide the greatest possible free space in each height adjustment of the vehicle between the running wheels as well as an advantageous arrangement of the drive device in a height-adjustable agricultural vehicle, it is provided that a portal spur gear (23) bridging the distance between the input shaft (21) of the transmission gear (18) and the drive shaft (19) of the drive device (20) is arranged between the drive shaft (19) of the drive device (20) and the input shaft (21) of the transmission gear (18) in a portal gearbox housing (22), that the drive gear (24) of the drive shaft (19) of the drive device (20) is connected to the upper region of the portal spur gear (23) via at least one intermediate spur gear (24), that the transmission gear (18) of the portal wheel drive unit (4) connected to the running wheel (9) via the output shaft (17) is designed as a planetary gear (25) arranged in a planetary gearbox housing (29), that the portal spur gear (23) is arranged rotationally fixed on the axle shaft (17) of the sun gear (26) of the planetary gear (25), that the ring gear (27) of the planetary gear (25) is connected to the hub (28) carrying the running wheel (9), that the axle shaft (17) carrying the sun gear (26) and the portal spur gear (23) is arranged adjustable in the vertical direction in the planetary gearbox housing (29).
