An ultrasonic sensor support (5), in particular for a manual system for detecting defects in a part to be inspected from a railroad vehicle, the sensor support (5) comprises an enclosure (6), adapted to be filled with a propagation liquid, comprising an upstream end (61) comprising a mounting opening (62) capable of receiving an ultrasonic sensor and an open downstream end (63), and a contact member (7) connected to the downstream end (63) of said enclosure (6) and comprising an access opening (71) opening into the interior of the enclosure (6), the mounting opening (62) and access opening (71) being aligned along a propagation axis (P), the contact member (7) being, at least in part, flexible so as to ensure a sealed contact with the part to be inspected in order to close the enclosure (6).
