A control device (6) for a vehicle includes: a gear shift detection part (7) configured to detect a change of a gear of a manual transmission (4) based on a change of an input shaft rotation speed NI of the manual transmission (4) after a clutch (2) is released, and to output a gear shift detection signal GS every time the change of the gear is detected; and an engine control part (8) configured to perform a shifting rotation synchronous control of synchronizing an engine rotation speed NE with the input shaft rotation speed NI, every time the gear shift detection signal GS is output from the gear shift detection part (7).
