STARTING UNIT FOR A DRIVE TRAIN OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

The invention relates to a starting unit (1) for a drivetrain of a motor vehicle, comprising a holding brake (3) and a switchable, mechanical disconnect clutch (2) with at least one starting element (5, 6), which in a closed state connects a drive side (7) serving for connection to a drive engine within the drivetrain with respective output sides (8, 9), which are provided within the drivetrain for coupling with a motor vehicle transmission. In order to create a starting unit (1) in which the most compact possible arrangement of the holding brake (3) is realized, the holding brake (3) is integrated into the disconnect clutch (2) in that the holding brake (3) is accommodated axially between the at least one starting element (5, 6) and at least one actuator (10, 11) of the at least one starting element (5, 6).
