METHOD FOR PRODUCING A JOINT CONNECTION BETWEEN A JOINT HOUSING AND A CONNECTION COMPONENT AND SUSPENSION COMPONENT PRODUCED ACCORDING TO THE METHOD

The invention relates to a method for producing a joining connection between a joint housing (4), in particular a ball joint housing, and at least one connecting component (2), comprising: - providing a blank for the manufacture of the joint housing (4); - providing the connecting component (2), wherein it has a joint receptacle (22) designed as an opening; - inserting the blank into the joint receptacle (22) of the connecting component (2); and - forming manufacture of the joint housing (4) by means of cold flow pressing of the inserted blank, wherein during the cold flow pressing process, an undercut form-fitting joining connection (42, 43) between the joint housing (4) and the connecting component (2) is produced by transverse flow pressing and/or upsetting. The invention further relates to a chassis component manufactured according to the method, which comprises a structural component (2) with at least one joint receptacle (22) designed as an opening, and a joint housing (4) inserted into this joint receptacle (22) and fastened to the structural component (2) for a joint device, in particular a ball joint device.
