The method for correcting the SOC of the battery includes measuring an SOC value of the battery, comparing the SOC value to preset operation ranges to determine an operation range corresponding to the SOC value, and adjusting a dead band in charging/discharging directions or charging/discharging power according to conditions corresponding to the operation range which corresponds to the SOC value to correct the SOC value of the battery.",
