A coupling arrangement for releasably coupling a traction vehicle with a trailing vehicle comprises: - a draw eye (112, 114) connected to one of the two vehicles, and - a counter-coupling means (120) connected to the respective other vehicle, wherein the coupling means (112, 114) and the counter-coupling means (120) can be coupled to one another and decoupled from one another to establish a coupling connection, wherein the draw eye (112, 114), when it is located within the draw eye receiving space (126) and is penetrated or at least can be penetrated by the coupling bolt (118), is located within a predetermined coupling position range, wherein the counter-coupling means (120) comprises a coupling body (122) with a draw eye receiving space (126) into which the draw eye (114) can be inserted to establish the coupling connection, and a coupling bolt (118) which is adjustable between an open position and a closed position, wherein furthermore the coupling arrangement (110) comprises a sensor (142, 144) which is designed and arranged to detect whether the draw eye (112, 114) is located within the coupling position range or not, which is characterized in that the coupling arrangement has a catch jaw (132) that can pivot about a coupling bolt longitudinal axis and the sensor (142, 144) is mounted on the catch jaw (132).
