In order to provide a vehicle tire in which the bead structure with the apex is coordinated with respect to manufacture of the vehicle tire, it is proposed that a plurality of reinforcing elements (3) are arranged in the apex (1), wherein the diameter of the reinforcing elements (3) is approximately 5 to 500 µm and the apex (1) has at least a height (2) of 25 mm, wherein the reinforcing elements (3) are oriented in the circumferential direction (13) and the apex (1) exhibits anisotropic material properties through the arrangement of the reinforcing elements (3), wherein the torsional stiffness (9) of the apex (1) in the height orientation is reinforced by the horizontal arrangement of the reinforcing elements (3).
