The invention relates to a seating furniture, in particular a sofa, comprising at least two, preferably three, seating units (11) arranged side by side, each with a seating part (13) and a backrest part (15), wherein on at least one of the seating units the backrest part is adjustable relative to the seating part between a seating position and a storage position, in which the rear side of the backrest part forms a storage surface (47), wherein the backrest part comprises at least two storage plates (17, 19) which together form the storage surface in the storage position, for which an actuating mechanism is provided that acts when the backrest part is adjusted and which moves the storage plates relative to one another between the seating position and the storage position, in particular pivots them.
