A valve block (1), which is intended in particular for controlling compressed air-fillable elements of a motor vehicle seat, has a plurality of outlets (7) for pneumatic connection of the valve block (1) respectively with one or a plurality of compressed air-fillable elements; furthermore a plurality of control valves (2) for selectively supplying compressed air to respectively one outlet (7) as well as a plurality of exhaust valves (3) for connecting respectively one outlet (7) with ambient air. The control valves (2) are supplied with compressed air by a common compressed air supply line (6). The control valves (2) and the exhaust valves (3) are designed such that identically constructed valves can be used both for the formation of valve blocks (1) with as well as for the formation of valve blocks (1) without pressure measuring devices (14) for measuring the pressure in a compressed air-fillable element connected to the valve block (1).
