A device for indicating the wear of brake pads (16, 26) of a disc brake, in which a plurality of brake pads (16, 26) can be applied against a brake disc (6) by means of two brake levers (10, 20) which are movably mounted each about a pivot point (13, 23). The device comprises at least one means (1, 2, 11, 12, 21, 22) for detecting a change in position of the two brake levers (10, 20) relative to each other between a first rest position and a second braking position applied against the brake disc (6).
