SEAT FOR AN OCCUPANT OF A VEHICLE

A seat (100) for an occupant of a vehicle has a restraint (50) for the occupant and two connectors (10, 20), for power supply of the restraint (50) and for communication related to the restraint (50). A control unit (30) in the seat (100) is configured to switch the roles of the connectors (10, 20) depending on how the seat (100) is connected to a power line (201) and a communication line (202). In this way, different orientations of the seat (100) can be taken into account.
