The electronic control unit (80) is configured to control an exhaust gas flow rate adjusting mechanism (11v) as exhaust gas amount-decreasing processing when the EGR amount-decreasing processing is executed such that the flow rate of the exhaust gas during the execution of the EGR amount-decreasing processing is lower than during a non-execution of the EGR amount-decreasing processing.
