In order to reduce the installation space required by the padding body (1) and the work effort during seat assembly, it is provided that the first plastic film piece (3) is glued or welded to the seat cover material (2) or the padding material over its entire surface or in areas (5, 12, 12', 13, 13'), and that the second plastic film piece (4) is glued or welded to the first plastic film piece (3) only in the areas (6, 6', 12, 12', 13, 13') that correspond to the required peripheral contour of the edges of the padding body (1).",
