The invention relates to a display device (2) for a motor vehicle (1), comprising a housing (12), a mirror device (13) which has a display element (7) with a semi-transparent mirror surface, and a drive device (15), by means of which the mirror device (13) can be moved between a stowed position, in which the display element (7) is arranged within the housing (12), and a use position, in which the display element (7) is arranged at least partially outside the housing (12), wherein the mirror device (13) has a bearing element (19) and the housing (12) has a counter-bearing element (20) corresponding to the bearing element (19), wherein the bearing element (19) in the use position of the mirror device (13) is rotatably mounted to the counter-bearing element (20).
