  "textContent": "Battery pack (12; 100) for supplying a mobile electrical device (10) such as an electric golf trolley with electrical energy, wherein the battery pack (12; 100) has a housing (24) with at least two separate cell packs (26, 28) with electrical connections (34, 36, 38, 40), wherein the electrical connections of the cell packs (26, 28) can be electrically interconnected to produce a total capacity only through electrical connection of a battery pack connector (20) of the battery pack (12) with a device mating connector (22, 88) of a drive control unit (16) of the device (10). In order to achieve safe transport of the battery pack as well as simple and safe interconnection of the cell packs, it is provided that in the housing (24) of the battery pack (12; 100) at least one switching element (32; 102, 108) is arranged for internal interconnection of the electrical connections (34, 36, 38, 40) of the cell packs (26, 28) with a single positive contact (50) and a single ground contact (35) of the battery pack connector (20), that the electrical connections (34, 36, 38, 40) of the cell packs in a first operating mode, in which the battery pack connector (20) is not electrically connected to the device mating connector (22, 88), are interconnected via the at least one switching element (32, 102, 108) such that between the ground contact (35) and the positive contact (50) the voltage or capacity of a single cell pack is applied, and that the at least one switching element (32; 102, 108) during electrical connection of the battery connector (20) with the device mating connector (22, 88) is switched into a second operating mode in which the electrical connections (34, 36, 38, 40) of the at least two cell packs are connected in series or in parallel, so that between the positive contact (50) and the ground contact (35) the total voltage or total capacity of all cell packs is applied.",
