METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A PNEUMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM AND SUCH A PNEUMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
The invention relates to a method for controlling a pneumatic braking system (1) of a vehicle (2), with at least the following steps: controlling a pilot brake pressure by means of an electropneumatic pilot control valve (20) in ventilation phases (S1_on) and venting phases (t2; S2_off); supplying the pilot pressure via a pilot control line (22) for outputting a brake pressure to wheel brakes (29, 30) of the vehicle (1). For this purpose, it is provided that the pilot control valve (20) is controlled from a vented state in alternating ventilation phases and venting phases in such a manner for automatic control of an average pilot pressure level (p_22_mid) that the pilot pressure (p_22) is increased in the ventilation phases and reduced in the venting phases (t2).
