The method includes: detecting in real time the switching frequency that the hybrid-power vehicle switches between at least two target operating modes; when the switching frequency is greater than a preset frequency, updating a condition parameter when the hybrid-power vehicle switches between the target operating modes according to the switching frequency; and based on the condition parameter that has been updated, determining whether to control the hybrid-power vehicle to perform switching between the target operating modes. In the present application, when the switching frequency is greater than a preset frequency, by updating the condition parameter when the hybrid-power vehicle switches between the target operating modes, the switching frequency that the hybrid-power vehicle switches between the target operating modes can be reduced, and the problems in the drivability caused by frequent mode switching are reduced.",
