"textContent": "An inverter system for the electrical drive of a vehicle comprising a grid-side inverter, a DC intermediate circuit with at least a first potential conductor and a second potential conductor, and a motor-side inverter. The motor-side inverter allows bidirectional energy flow. The grid-side inverter is single-phase on the input side and connectable to a supply network, connected on the output side to the DC intermediate circuit, and draws energy from the supply network during operation. The grid-side inverter is a unidirectional inverter and allows energy flow from the supply network into the DC intermediate circuit. The DC intermediate circuit connects the grid-side inverter to the motor-side inverter and has a first electrical energy storage device between the first potential conductor and the second potential conductor. A further electrical energy storage device is connected to the DC intermediate circuit via an electrical connection. The energy flow from the DC intermediate circuit into the further electrical energy storage device, as well as the energy flow from the further electrical energy storage device into the DC intermediate circuit, is controllable.",
