MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT PROVIDED WITH A SEAT PORTION THAT CAN FOLD TOWARDS THE BACKREST

The present invention relates to a motor vehicle seat comprising a backrest (21) intended to be fixed to the floor of said vehicle, as well as a seat cushion (22) pivotally articulated on said backrest (21) around a transverse axis (29) between a lowered configuration in which it is capable of accommodating a passenger and a raised configuration in which it is folded back towards said backrest (21); characterized in that it comprises a pneumatic actuator (37) arranged on one of the lateral sides of said seat and capable of retaining said seat cushion (22) in said raised configuration against a predetermined deceleration threshold experienced by said seat. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising such a seat.
