A bearing device for a wheel according to the present invention includes a bearing (20) for a wheel and a constant velocity universal joint (6), which are connected to each other by threadedly engaging and fastening a bolt (42), which is inserted from an outboard side through a bolt insertion hole (46) formed in a hub wheel (1), into a bolt hole (41) formed in an end portion of a stem section (30) on the outboard side of an outer joint member (24) of the constant velocity universal joint (6). Convex portions (37) are formed on an outer peripheral surface of the stem section (30). Concave portions (40) fitted to the convex portions (37) so as to allow torque transmission therebetween, and guiding concave portions (65) configured to guide start of fitting between the convex portions (37) and the concave portions (40) by being fitted to the convex portions (37) with a gap therebetween are formed in an inner peripheral surface of the hub wheel (1). Under a state in which an entire axial range of the guiding concave portions (65) is fitted to the convex portions (37) with a gap therebetween before the start of the fitting (press fitting) between the convex portions (37) and the concave portions (40), a maximum inclination angle (¸ 2 ) of the bolt (42) with respect to the hub wheel (1) is set to be larger than a maximum inclination angle (¸ 1 ) of the outer joint member (24) with respect to the hub wheel (1).
