HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE

A head-up display device that can generate a plurality of virtual images at different distances in the up-down direction at the same time is provided. A virtual image of a visual image to be visually recognized by a passenger 7 of a vehicle is generated by projecting respective visual images from a projector 4 that uses an LED light source to a first screen 20 and a second screen 21 via a first projection lens 16 and a second projection lens 17, and reflecting the visual images projected to the first screen 20 and the second screen 21 to a windshield 6 of the vehicle 2 to be visually recognized by the passenger 7 of the vehicle. A first virtual image which is based on the visual image projected to the first screen 20 and a second virtual image which is based on the visual image projected to the second screen 21 are respectively disposed in the up-down direction at positions at different distances from the passenger.
