The present disclosure relates to a pre-combustion chamber assembly (60) for an internal combustion engine (10). The pre-combustion chamber assembly (60) may comprise a pre-combustion chamber lower part (80) and a pre-combustion chamber upper part (70) including at least one fuel supply channel (76; 761, 762), both defining a pre-combustion chamber (68) and being mountable to one another. The pre-combustion chamber assembly (60) may further comprise at least one fuel accumulating chamber (77; 771, 772) disposed in at least one of the pre-combustion chamber upper and lower parts (70, 80). The fuel accumulating chamber (77; 771, 772) may extend at least partially circumferentially about a longitudinal axis (63) of the pre-combustion chamber (68) and may be in fluid connection with the at least one fuel supply channel (76; 761, 762). The pre-combustion chamber assembly (60) may further comprise at least one fuel passage (78; 781, 782) disposed in at least one of the pre-combustion chamber upper and lower parts (70, 80) and being configured to fluidly connect the at least one fuel accumulating chamber (77; 771, 772) to the pre-combustion chamber (68). Each of the at least one fuel passage (78; 781, 782) may extend along a respective fuel passage axis (79; 791, 792) that may lie substantially in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (63).
