VEHICULAR INFORMATION-PROCESSING DEVICE
DRIVE
April 27, 2016
A vehicle (100) selects one of a first mode and a second mode and travels. The first mode restrains or prohibits operation of an internal combustion engine (131), while prioritizing operation of a motor (140), which consumes a charge amount of a battery (113). The second mode activates at least one of the engine (131) and the motor (140) to maintain the charge amount of the battery (113). A travel route from a departure place to a destination includes a plurality of sections (K1-K6). A travel plan assigns one of the first mode and the second mode to each of the sections (K1-K6), which are included in the travel route. An assessing section (152) assesses a tendency (R, ±) of assignment of the first mode in the travel route. A notifying section (123) notifies information (161) that corresponds to the tendency (R, ±) assessed by the assessing section (152).
