"textContent": "Method and device for adjusting a boost pressure in an internal combustion engine (39) with a pressure wave supercharger (1), wherein the pressure wave supercharger (1) has a cellular rotor (8) which undergoes at least two compression cycles per revolution, wherein a high-pressure exhaust gas stream (4c) is divided into a first and a second high-pressure exhaust gas partial stream (4d, 4e), wherein in the first compression cycle a fresh air stream (2c) as well as the first high-pressure exhaust gas partial stream (4d) is supplied to the cellular rotor (8) and from the cellular rotor (8) a first compressed fresh air stream (3c) and a low-pressure exhaust gas stream (5e) is discharged, and wherein in the second compression cycle the fresh air stream (2c) as well as the second high-pressure exhaust gas partial stream (4e) is supplied to the cellular rotor (8) and from the cellular rotor (8) a second compressed fresh air stream (3d) and the low-pressure exhaust gas stream (5e) is discharged, wherein the first and the second compressed fresh air stream (3c, 3d) are combined to form a charge air (3e), and wherein the charge air (3e) is supplied to the internal combustion engine (39), wherein the quantities of the first and the second high-pressure exhaust gas partial stream (4d, 4e) are controlled independently of one another, and thereby the quantity of the charge air (3e) is controlled and in particular one compression cycle can be completely switched off.",
